A leading Business Aviation company in Savannah URGENTLY needs Stress Engineers who have a minimum of 10 years of Airframe Stress Experience.

Position Purpose: The MRB Stress Engineer guides successful completion of major Engineering programs, and/or conceives research in areas of considerable scope and complexity supporting the development and production of Our Client's products and services.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: The MRB Stress Engineer: Selects appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex Engineering issues.

Is consulted extensively by associates and others as a recognized authority within the field.

Anticipates and resolves complex issues in creative and effective ways, developing standards and guides for diverse Engineering activities.

Has a problem-solving approach that balances technical product, cost and schedule.

Works without appreciable direction.

Work is reviewed from a long-range perspective for desired results.

Exercises latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments, and makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative.

Additional Functions: The MRB Stress Engineer: Maintains a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields in order to recommend innovations that improve quality and effectiveness of the Company product.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Required Skills for this MRB Stress Engineer position include the following: 10 years in the specific technical discipline or 15 years of broad Engineering experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelors, or eight (8) years in the specific technical discipline with a Master's, or six (6) years in the specific technical discipline with a PhD; Bachelors degree in Engineering, a related curriculum, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job (See other Requirements below) Specific Experience/Education Required Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Civil, and/or Mechanical Engineering Minimum 10 years of Airframe Stress experience in Metallic and Composite Structures using Hand Analysis and Computer Methods Stress/Stress Liaison experience in a Production environment analyzing repair techniques for nonconforming material highly desired Experience using FAR Part 25 desired Knowledge of Fatigue and Damage Tolerance principles Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills Must be computer literate; CATIA V5 experience a plus Special Instructions to begin the process: Please email your resume to Volt at: marietta023604 [at] volt [dot] com and it will be expedited to the Recruiter assigned to this position, to readily discuss this job with you!Please use the entire job posting number in your subject line to ensure it gets routed to the correct Recruiter: 300283-6509-13-254982 - MRB Stress Engineer - Material Review BoardNext, call Volt at the number listed on this posting and inform the Receptionist that you would like to be in contact with the Recruiter responsible for this posting.
