MEP/REVIT CAD Technician Job in Los Angeles 90008, California US
Our client, an engineering consulting firm that works with award winning architects and international developers, is seeking a Senior Building Services REVIT MEP / CAD Technician to join their expanding MEP CAD team.
JOB DESCRIPTIONThe firm is looking to move towards BIM technology (Revit MEP) and more complex project work in both AutoCAD and Revit.
This position will support the MEP Engineers and coordinate with other disciplines.
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience as a MEP CAD Technician and be a highly competent user of AutoCAD and Revit MEP. The work will involve large scale Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing & Fire Protection projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS-The REVIT MEP/CAD Technician will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience within and architecture, engineering, or consulting firm.
-Must have excellent REVIT MEP and CAD skills and have applied them to projects within a firm (Strictly having training in the REVIT program will not be sufficient enough experience).
-Excellent communication skills when dealing with other employees and external clients.
-Self sufficient, with the ability to take the lead in challenging situations -Ability to work within project deadlines.
-Seeking candidates with a broad project background - the firm focuses on local and international projects.
