Global Fluid Products Manufacturing company based in Western New York is seeking a MANAGER ACCOUNTING & REPORTING.

This is a division level role reporting directly into the CFO that will focus on defining accounting processes throughout the global division and all of its entities.

Including but not limited to coordination, review and management of standardizing and steam lining processes, eliminating unneeded reports, providing more value added reports for the business, monthly closing of the books and records, balance sheet reconciliations, taxes and audit & balance sheet review support.

Another key area of responsibility is the development of the IP Accounting and Reporting resources to provide the proper development and growth opportunities.

Additionally, with the re-alignment of the finance organization it will be absolutely critical that this position have seamless communication with the Business Analysis side of the finance group.

This is a requirement for success in this position.JOB DUTIES: - Responsible, as a member of the IP Finance team supporting financial reporting requirements including closing/consolidation, balance sheet reconciliations, GPA management, reporting (daily, weekly & monthly for finance and business), providing business review information and FMC reporting requirements (A Forms, Q Forms, Tax packages, Government Reporting).

(Key result: Accurate financial information to make good business analysis and decisions).

- Responsible for applying 'Lean' standardized processes & standardized reporting, eliminating waste and stream lining processes to develop a highly efficient and effective accounting and reporting team for division in North America.

- Work closely with business analysis resources to ensure we can provide the data needed to meet the analysis needs of the business (customer information, market information, product information, cost information, key initiatives, etc.) (Key result: Profitable and growing business)- Ensure proper internal controls are in place (SOA & FCPA) and provide support for SOA and balance sheet reviews across division (Key Result: No surprises and strong internal control environment)- Work with the Corporate Shared Services on transactional coordination (A/R, A/P, Payroll, Capital, etc.) to improve coordination add to the services where it makes sense for the Corporate Shared Services to provide support.

1. Minimum of Bachelors degree in Accounting/Financ

2. Must have either CPA (active) and/or MBA3) 10+ years of financial management experience with both financial and general accounting background in manufacturing environment.

4. 5+ years of management experience leading a team of accountants and/or financial analysts.
