Summary: Responsible for the protection of the Hotel property, Guests, Associates, and their assets.

Secure and inventory all lost and found items.

Essential Functions/Tasks: · Responsible for the protection of the Hotel property, Guests, Associates, and their assets.

· Assist Guests in recovery of lost items.

· Assist Guests with information and update Guests with information as needed.

· Implement and enforce the SMP #308.

· Secondary responses to emergencies.

(ie illness, injures, fire, smoke, disturbances, and unusual incidents.

· Assist Guests with information, directions, or any other assistance needed.

· Teach and train other departments in the procedures pertaining to any lost and found items.

· Mailing out all lost items.

· Lost item Custodian (making sure all lost items are properly handled, logged, and are maintained in a secure and safe manner.

)· Flexible hours to accommodate emergency situations and any on going investigation when required.

· Assist Supervisors in the training of new Security personnel.

· Assistance and support of all other Security Officers.

· Ensure that shift personnel follow departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures pertaining to the SMP #308.

Secondary Functions/Tasks: · Check required reading boards, function sheets, and passdown logs for any important information for the day.· Administrative duties.

· Assisting with shift reports.

· Perform any duty necessary for the good of the department.

· Handles all paperwork required for new hires, terminations, warning notices, and promotions accurately and confidentially.

· Keep an inventory and order office supplies as needed.

(ie uniforms, etc.)· Bill clients for security services/ coverage as needed.

· Maintain close communication and follow up with H.

R to ensure outstanding positions are replaced in a timely manner.

· Assist with the preparation of check request forms, petty cash, and gift certificates.

· Inventory, order, and supplying First Aid Stations.

· Assist Risk Manager as needed.

· All duties as assigned by the Director of Security.

Education, Experience, Training or Skills Required: Required: Good written/verbal skills.

Must be organized and flexible, Type 40 wpm, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, and Outlook programs.

High School Diploma/GED, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Card, and a California Guard Card.

Preferred: Office, phone and administrative experience.

Prior experience in the Law Enforcement/ Security fields.
