Logistics Analyst Job in Framingham 01702, Massachusetts US
JOB SUMMARY: Provides analytical support to ensure the development of logistics network and facility infrastructure strategies.
Assists with data collection and prepares analyses for financial modeling efforts, scenario comparisons and Corporate Express Integration activities.
Run MS Excel and MS Access (example: sales, inventory, throughput capacity) models and prepare high-level summaries to help develop network strategies.
Recommend and implement improvements to these models to increase effectiveness.
Assist with data collection efforts and provide analyses to support long-term supply chain network strategy efforts.
Write and run macros / queries as needed to assemble raw data for input into models or other analysis efforts.
Assist in the financial modeling of logistics network scenarios.Ad hoc assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.Two to four years experience, preferably in the logistics field.
Basic knowledge of supply chain concepts.
Strong computer/analytical skills (Excel, Access, Microsoft Word) required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing others in a matrix organization.
Financial analysis/justification experience a plus.
