This member of the Product Market and Solutions Management team drives go to market (GTM) success for Gomezs Load Testing solutions.

The Load Testing Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is responsible for defining and understanding markets, competitors, users and buyers of web application load testing products.

The PMM works closely with marketing, sales and product management to develop and evangelize product positioning, messaging, value drivers, benefits, GTM plans and differentiation.

Collaborating across the organization, the PMM develops GTM plans and initiatives that drive business results, with the ultimate goal of rapid market acceptance, sales success and leading market share.Job ResponsibilitiesMarket/business analysis (Est.

Understand product buyers, users and influencers to inform product development, messaging, and sales/marketing approaches
Monitor industry analysts, competitors, customers, sales engagements, etc. to identify unmet customer needs and market opportunities
Partner with product management to document business plans, use cases, prioritize opportunities, and influence product strategy Product and solution messaging (~25%)
Develop and articulate clear and compelling customer pain points, value propositions, messages, competitive differentiation, and customer success stories
Define and document straight line to value scenarios that showcase Gomez Load Testing features and differentiators and demonstrate customer value Product marketing (~25%)
Develop and maintain the product marketing content related to assigned products, including messaging platform documents, sales presentations, product demo scripts, web site content, logical and architectural diagrams, competitive comparisons, etc,
Working closely with the AR and PR teams, maximize and influence coverage by industry analysts, press, and other thought leaders
Author and facilitate white papers, by-lined articles, and other thought leadership pieces; speak at tradeshows, conferences, and other events
Energize Gomezs sales teams and channel partners with compelling customer successes, exciting wins, etc.
Recycle insight from the field, customers and partners back into messaging, market opportunity assessments, etc.
Achieve bookings and pipeline targets Marketing Playbook (~25%)
Serve as key liaison between sales team and marketing
Develop and drive Load Testing playbook initiatives that are integrated with the corporate business plan, product roadmap and sales strategy including targeting, messaging, solution packaging, marketing campaigns and sales enablement
Team with the marketing programs group to execute, measure and refine GTM plays Product launch (~15%)
Lead GTM readiness for product launches, hit key schedule milestones, measure business results, and compare to plan projections
Develop GTM plans which lay out clear business objectives and cover marketing collateral and sales tool development, press and analysts briefings, customer and partner communication, demo development, sales training, customer references

5 - 10 years enterprise application software experience in product marketing or product management
Demonstrated skills in successfully marketing high tech, enterprise application products.

Proven ability to add value to the sales process through marketing, sales tools, training and presentation.


Technical undergraduate degree with MBA a plus
Background in application development, change and release management, and load testing
Preferred industry backgrounds include load testing, web application performance management (APM), web content delivery, enterprise systems management (ESM), application development lifecycle management, QA functional testing, or Business Services Management (BSM).

On-demand, software-as-a-service experience a plus
Excellent communication skills: listening and understanding and a proven ability to convey complex ideas simply and clearly in written, presentation and spoken formats

Able to work collaboratively and through others without a direct reporting relationship.
