The ideal line cook is motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by preparing food items consistently and adhering to all recipe standardsMaintain a safe working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelinesComplete kitchen tasks such as line setup, food preparation, cleanup and breakdown Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience in food service/hospitality desired, but not requiredMust enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environmentAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkersBasic math and written communication skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needsFood handlers card may be required according to local and/or state requirements Since 1901, Nordstrom has offered a wide variety of quality apparel, shoes and accessories for men, women and children at our stores across the country.
