Librarian Job in Skillman 08558, New Jersey US
Job description: The librarian will be responsible for establishing and implementing global Library services for the organization.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: -Identify needs & associated costs and obtain budget for Library Services that would be globally available within organization.
-Work within budget to identify and/or work with external vendor(s) for selection, acquisition, negotiation, licensing & management of medical/scientific e-journal collection database, content access, document delivery services, etc.-Develop company intranet site with available Library resources (virtual library) & tracking/reporting-Identify and provide solution for management of available and future resources/collections in a compliant mannerRequirements: Masters degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited school with minimum three years experience, preferably in pharmaceutical/medical device environment.
Experience in starting up Library services, excellent organization, time management, communication (written and oral) skills.
