Legal Operations Analyst Job in Abbott Park, Illinois US

The Legal Operations position is responsible for approximately 90% project-related work and miscellaneous administrative duties.

The project-related work involves: - research and data analysis, - the development of program documentation, - developing communication and education protocols and materials, - assisting with program metrics and measurement, - developing and providing reports, - assisting in negotiations with vendors, - assisting with Legal Division meetings, - assisting with surveys and benchmarking, - general project management tasks, and - other similar activities.

This position will support the Legal Division's Chief Operations Counsel, the Senior Manager for Outside Counsel and Vendor Management, the Senior Manager for Performance Management, the Senior Manager for Legal IT and Administration, the Director of E-discovery and Records Management, the Director of Litigation Management Operations, and the Director of IP Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires: - a high level of organizational skills, - strong interpersonal skills, - problem solving and analytical skills, - independent judgment, - a strong work ethic, - attention to detail, - strong writing skills, - the ability to work under pressure, - strong verbal skills, - research skills, - the ability to manage multiple projects for multiple managers, and - project management experience.

Experience with MS Office and other software applications is required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Publisher, Project, VISIO).

Familiarity with basic finance principles, and general technology principles are required.
