Lead Center Manager - Shock and Steering (2009-140) Job in Cleveland 30528, Georgia US
Position Summary: The Lead Center Manager has P&L responsibilities for total operations and future growth of the Shock & Steering Lead Center.
He/She will guide Lean Systems advancement as well as guide and lead the team to exceed short and long-term goals and expectations.
The Lead Center Manager will also have responsibility for providing support, feedback and communications will all levels of team.
Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelors degree required.
(Engineering preferred.
) Masters degree preferred.
10. 15 years manufacturing experience in automotive industry.
Rubber molding experienceDirect managerial experience of cross-functional team to include Human Resources and Finance.
Excellent leadership skills.
Excellent communications skills and people skills.
Excellent analytical/strategic skills, required.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Good systematic planning skills.
Good working knowledge of cost and financial systems.
Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing philosophies such as TPS, Six Sigma or Kaizen.
Good project management skills.
Familiar with customer quality and logistic requirements.
Foreign language capability, in particular with Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
Develop lead center strategies and execute plans to meet objectives.
Meet and exceed monthly and strategic business targets.
Planning, cost control, cost reduction, budgeting, people management and project management.
Good communications with all levels of the organization.
Work closely with Division, Production Partners, Commercial teams, and Global Partners to grow sales and profits.
Working independently with very little direction.
Frequent domestic and international travel required.
Multi-culture environment due to global partners that requires tact and understanding in order to operate at peak effectiveness.
