Lead Administration Specialist B (Labor Relations Specialist) Job in Aiken , South Carolina US
Qualifications: BS or BA in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or Related Degree plus 18-20 years direct experience relevant to Labor Relations; or MS/MA/MBA in related field plus 12-15 years related experience; or Associate's degree in related field and at least 20+ years of related experience; or a High School diploma and a significant number of years of practical experience related to Labor Relations.
A comprehensive level of knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Labor Relations is required.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of all pertinent policies, practices, and procedures is required.
Prior experience in a supervisory or management capacity would be preferred.
Experience with the Augusta Building Trades and SRS is a plus.
US Citizenship is required for this position.
Job Description: Savannah River Remediation is seeking a Lead Administration Specialist B (Labor Relations Specialist) to be based in our Aiken, SC office to work on the Savannah River Remediation Project.
Typical responsibilities include: Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to. Refine, develop, and update policies and procedures dealing with craft management to enhance productivity.
Interpret and administer labor agreement rules and enforce work rules.
Analyze and determine jurisdictional work assignments.
Support the Labor Relations Manager in Conducting grievance hearings, conduct local recruiting efforts for manual employees and prepare Labor Relation Reports.
