Laundry Attendant Job in Wayne 07470, New Jersey US
Join our Team! Laundry Attendant Job Summary: Heres your opportunity to Work on the bright side®! La Quinta Inns & Suites®, a leader in the hospitality industry, is searching for a Laundry Attendant.
This position is responsible for the overall operation of the laundry facility and will insure that there is an adequate supply of linens washed and folded in order to meet the supply demand of the hotel.
The Laundry Attendant is also responsible for maintaining the linen inventory by keeping the discards to a minimum.
Other key duties include: · Maintain the chemical stock for housekeeping and laundry.
· Help with the monthly linen inventory process.
· Maintain break room and/or public areas as needed.
· Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed (i.
e., guest room cleaning, etc.). Minimum Experience, Education, Skill & Physical Requirements: · Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
· General knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safety preferred.
· Must be able to lift 25 50 lbs.· Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling.
· Strong attention to detail required.
· Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
· Must be flexible in hours and days worked.
· Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions.
