Key Account Managers Job in Multiple locations
Top Global Consumer Products Company seeks Key Account Managers for various US territories.
RESPONSIBILITIES: · Develops and implements long term strategic plans · Conducts post promotion analysis evaluating spend versus sales results· Ensures cost effective use of resources, such as travel, trade spend funds· Execute all appropriate field based initiatives including Category Management and Logistics issues.
· Guides interaction with team and/or Brokers to help understand customer based market needs· Champions multi-functional resources to successfully implement brand/category strategies for each account and improve and enhance customer service.
· Adapts knowledge of customer strategies to company strategy to optimize sales potential.
· Achieves plan objectives on sales, spending and profit with key customers.
· Seeks, creates and develops new business opportunities to build brand consumption· Has authority and latitude to effectively negotiate with multi-functional resources both internally and externally.
· Develops and executes effective account specific marketing programs· Understands and uses syndicated software programs· Establishes rapport with customers within area of responsibility· Maintain strong communication links with regional sales management.
· Independently and proactively problem solves.
QUALIFICATIONS: 4 year college degree preferred or equivalent management experience 3 to 5 years related Sales experience Strong knowledge of sales function processes Knowledge of Consumer packaged goods industry Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data and Customer Management Process as well as Microsoft Office Must be open to relocation if required
