Junior Financial/Public Relations Associate Job in New York 10005, New York US
The Junior Financial/Public Relations Associate is responsible for developing and executing a media outreach program to promote one of the largest foreign exchange research sites in the world; DailyFX.com. Responsibilities include managing press placements, business development, media relations, announcements, social media, brand management and syndication.
The ideal candidate is self-driven and a results-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The position will have the opportunity to work closely with senior executives to develop and deliver reviews of company websites, awards, and media appearances as well as managing syndication relationships, organic SEO building and brand management via social media outlets.
Business relationships are developed through cold calling and working with existing partners.
Specialist is accountable for identifying, attracting, qualifying, proposing efforts for continued and additional traffic to the website and building the brand.
The Junior Financial/Public Relations Associate is expected to develop specific industry knowledge including trends and the competitive landscape in the Public Relations segment for news and research portals.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Drive press coverage, develop and execute media outreach strategies· Build and maintain relationships with key media, industry analysts, vendors and content syndication partners · Create and implement product/service announcementsFollow foreign exchange and international news events, economics, and international finance· Support communication initiatives associated with corporate financial and business announcements· Place and support DailyFX Analysts at industry speaking opportunities as well as regular appearances on Financial TV outlets· Write media pitches, press releases, fact sheets, advertorials and bylined articlesBrand management through social media outlets· Coordinate nominations for industry awards Qualifications: Eligible to work in the USA (No H1 Visa Sponsorship)Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA o
