Jr. Programmer Analyst Job in Frederick 21701, Maryland US
Junior Programmer Analyst NEW Experient - the source for integrated meeting and event services.
Experient is currently looking for a Programmer Analyst for the Frederick, MD office.
This position will be responsible for working closely with clients to identify and execute medium to complex business requirements and processes.
The incumbent will research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations in an effort to implement applications which are efficient and of the highest quality.
You will be expected to manage daily work/tasks independently and be responsible for escalating issues to the manager of any deliverables that are in jeopardy of a timely delivery.
Core job duties:
Design, develop, test, implement, and document scalable web & windows applications in a C# environment;
Perform data analysis and make sound decisions based on results while troubleshooting issues/bugs;
Write medium to complex queries & software routines as needed for both application development as well as data analysis and troubleshooting;
Identify and update knowledge bases with all custom code routines that are developed;
Apply all patches & updates to current applications in a timely fashion and within deadline;
Provide onsite support as required of all applications you develop; To be successful in this role we require the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, or Engineering with emphasis on application development;
Working knowledge (0-2 yrs experience) of object oriented application development with Microsoft products;
C# experience preferred;
Proficiency in data analysis & development with RDBMS, MS SQL Server preferred;
Excellent communication & comprehension skills with technical & non technical personnel, both written and verbal;
Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently;
Must be able to multi-task, manage time constraints, and meet deadlines;
Sound troubleshooting skills and techniques are required.
