Jr. Accountant Job in Baltimore 21061, Maryland US
Reports to the Controller Local manufacturer seeking Junior Accountant.
Must have previous experience (not less than 3 years).
A/P, A/R, Credit and Collections.
Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

A/P - Responsible for all activities in the accounts payable function including preparing accounts payable register and related reports Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports.
Makes recommendations for vendor payments consistent with the payment practices set forth by the Controller or COO of the company.
A/R Responsible for am and pm lockbox processing, daily invoicing, processing credits.
Data entry for excel and other reports Sorting & distribution of mail daily.
Research and resolution of and customer/vendor inquiries and problems.
Assist with answering telephones.
Job Requirements: Education: Some college coursework completed Experience: Minimum of one to three years current experience in the field or in a related area.
Recent college graduate will be considered.
Skills required Excellent computer skills; intermediate to advanced Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills both written and orally and must be able to deal effectively with people on all levels.
