Java Web Developer Job in Boston, Massachusetts US
Job Description Growing healthcare software product company with excellent client base and management team is seeking a strong Java Web developer to join its engineering team.
The team develops and maintains J2EE based web and PDA-based applications.
Required Skills
Java and J2EE Technologies (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, etc.)
Significant hands-on working experience with JavaScript/AJAX/HTML/CSS/DOM
Proficiency with various XML technologies (XDS, XPath, XSLT)
Proficiency with JUnit and other unit testing frameworks
Working knowledge of relational databases, ANSI SQL
Working knowledge of J2EE application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss)
Familiarity with Web Services
Track record of building scalable enterprise solutions
Working knowledge of Agile SDLC (software development lifecycle; requirements)analysis, design, development, testing, implementation
Background in object-oriented design and analysis, exposure to UML
Thorough understanding of n-tier application architecture Required Experience
5+ years of recent, hands-on production J2EE experience building commercial web applications
Prior experience with J2EE web frameworks: Struts, Spring, Tapestry
Prior experience with web portals
Experience with Java Swing
Prior healthcare experience, knowledge of HL7, clinical data and interfaces
BSCS, advanced degree preferred
Certified Java developer is a plus
