J2EE Developer Job in Newton, Massachusetts US
Our client is looking for a solid Java developer to join its engineering team.
The team develops and maintains J2EE based server-side interfaces and components responsible for providing backend support to a web and PDA-based applications.
Candidates will have a: Track record of building scalable enterprise solutions Working knowledge of Agile SDLC Background in object-oriented design and analysis, exposure to UML Thorough understanding of n-tier application architecture Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Required ExperienceBachelors degree in a related field (computer science preferred) 5+ years Java/J2EE development (Servlets, JSP, JDBC) Familiarity with Java threading model XML technologies (XDS, XPath, XSLT) Experience with JavaScript/AJAX/HTML/CSS/DOM Working knowledge of WebSphere and TomcatSound understanding of object-oriented design Working knowledge of Agile software development techniques Interested parties should send their resume to kgorham [at] hollisterstaff [dot] com
