Irregular Warfare Logistical Support Job in Suitland 20746, Maryland US
Provide logistics management for Irregular Warfare Center Deployment Preparation Office (DEPO) as mission needs dictate.
Tasks related to this support will include field gear inventory management, production of purchase orders as appropriate to mission needs, basic maintenance of DEPO facility, liaison with base infrastructure authorities on matters of support services, and the transport of personnel and gear to and from locations in the Washington, DC area.
Ability to: store, handle, service, distribute, and prepare purchase documents.
Transfer hazardous (to include Ordnance items) and nonhazardous material between CONUS and OCONUS sites.
Palletize loads of equipment and prepare for mobility operations.
Maintain a continuously updated inventory of equipment.
Manage facilities (overt and covert).
Requirements: -A current SSBI-Candidate must have a high level of understanding of logistics as they apply to special operations, and should have expert level of experience, specifically: Store, handle, service, distribute, and prepare purchase documents.
Candidate must have expert experience with the transfer of hazardous (to include Ordnance items) and non-hazardous material between CONUS and OCONUS sites.
Must also have expert experience with palletizing of loads of equipment and prepare for mobility operations, maintaining continuously updated inventory equipment and managing facilities (overt and covert).
-Prior experience supporting clandestine, combat, and controlled operations.
Candidate must possess expert knowledge of NSW and SOF doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP); and Tactical Cryptologic and Intelligence Information Support (TC/IIS) organizations, functions, procedures, missions, and equipment.
Must have knowledge of the Defense Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution System (PPBES).
Candidate must have knowledge of project/ program management procedures.
Must have the ability to plan and execute deployment orders for teams and individuals.
Candidate will have knowledge sufficient to provide expert opinion, assessments, and thoughtful analyzes of products.
-Candidate will have analytical skills to develop, coordinate, and execute complex and integrated tasking and be able to communicate orally in order to present high-level briefings in both field and office settings.
Candidate will coordinate with all levels of authority, senior and junior, and must be able to communicate effectively in writing sufficiency to produce comprehensive, structured reports, analyses, comparisons, and other documentation.
