We have developed our expertise through extensive work in sell-side, buy-side, divestiture and capital raising assignments on behalf of portfolio companies of private equity funds, closely held businesses and publicly traded companies.
Responsibilities: Work on a variety of M&A and capital raising transactions in various stagesCommunicates regulatory, financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide decision-makers in corporate finance transactions Ability to market services both to internal partners and external clients, develop client networks, and support efforts in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies Ability to manage relationships internally with senior professionals Ensure quality of client deliverables by having a strong attention to detail Individuals will be assigned a wide variety of projects and given as much responsibility as their experience and capabilities permitRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, graduating between December 2008 and June 2010 Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 Demonstrates an understanding of financial statement analysis, the merger & acquisition process, and company valuation techniques (discounted cash flow analysis, public company multiples, transaction multiples) Ability to make effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments at once Demonstrated experience with managing of day to day aspects of client relationships and engagements FINRA Series 7 and 63 certification (current or able to obtain) Strong analytical, comprehension and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills Duff & Phelps is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment.
