As a Field Investigator, you will be in a position of trust, a role that requires integrity, confidentiality, intensity, commitment and pride in your countrys security.
Youll find that every day is different.
Field Investigators spend approximately 75% of their time traveling.
They complete record searches and conduct face-to-face interviews to gather information about applicants seeking federal security clearances.
Although most travel will remain local, out of area travel is possible for up to two to five weeks at a time.
All selected applicants attend new Investigator training at our
