International NFP seeks Grants Manager for Policy & Procedure Development Job in Atlanta 30312, Georgia US
International Non-Profit Organization is seeking a talented individual for the position of Grant Accounting Manager to assist in the development of Policies and Procedures on a contract basis (approximately 4-6 months).
Responsibilities will include: Supporting the day to day grant compliance financial operations of US and International programs, assuring collaboration, communication and coordination with other headquarters functions.
Developing and enhancing finance systems, including policies, procedures, practices, and information systems that are best in the industry, efficient and ensure good controls for all of the company's international grant accounting, compliance and reporting.
Ensuring accurate, timely, efficient, and transparent accounting for all US and non US government grants Prepare, review and submit grant drawdown and financial reports as required for each grant.
Ensure, perform and coordinate financial compliance monitoring for grants/donations from all reportable donors.
Coordinate and support OMB A-133 Audit, grantors audit or monitoring site visitRequirements: Bachelor's Degree6+ years related work experienceWorking knowledge of intermediate accounting and government grant compliance pronouncements.
Significant grant accounting, reporting and monitoring experience with grants from US government agencies such as HUD, CNCS, USAID, etc., other government funding agencies, International donors and othersExperience in policy and procedures developmentAbility to provide guidance, training and supervision to other grant accountants to ensure compliance with all government regulations.
