Internal Operations Budg / Fin Anl III - 414548 Job in Chicago 60601, Illinois US
BASIC FUNCTION: This position is responsible for providing support to all levels of Internal Operations management in the development and monitoring of divisional and departmental operating expense budgets; updating and creating new financial models; and analyzing financial performance metrics.JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance and 4 years business experience in corporate financial reporting and budgeting or IT operational functions in IT Financials OR 7 business experience in corporate financial reporting and budgeting or IT operational functions in IT Financials
2. Knowledge of tools/applications used within Internal Operations (ie Blue View, Center View, Workforce Tools, PeopleSoft, Ariba, ITAM, ISAM, Clarity, eBudget) and experience with at least one tool
3. Previous experience in SSD or ITG budget preparation
4. Customer service skills, including managing customers expectations, and/or vendor relationships
5. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
6. Effective presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
7. PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes
8. Must be detail orientated.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience with IT financial modeling
2. Knowledge of IT hardware/software assets which include software licenses and maintenance costs
3. Previous experience with business/financial models/business cases and forecasting
4. Knowledge of IT cost structure, used to provide in depth analysis around project costs (hardware, software, contract labor, absorbed labor and core budget costs).
