Position Description: In this role, you will work with a team of talented business and technology professionals all focused on delivering game-changing, breakthrough technology innovation.
Your role within the UHG IT Innovation and Research & Development team will be to craft compelling visions of new concepts and ideas, websites, web and mobile applications and application prototypes.
Primary Responsibilities: Consults with Information Technology and business leaders on the development and implementation of strategic business solutions through research, audit, and analysis of data and/or business processInteracts with all levels of managementPlays a key role in developing, documenting and maintaining complex business models for Information Technology projectsParticipates in developing company/department strategic business plans and/or action plans including identification of objectives, goals and strategiesAssists in preparation of estimates for Information Technology Projects projects involving large capital investmentsEstablishes metrics to measure deployment of new project or process solutionsWorks with business partners and technical team to define, document, and review business and system requirements to support new projectsAssists users in prioritization process and the development of strategies and performance goalsDevelops detailed documentation to support understanding of requirements in support of business, development, and Quality AssuranceAssists in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact findingProjects involve more than one user area and more than one systemDemonstrates leadership by coordinating the requirements, specifications, and design and testing efforts for small to large projects UnitedHealth Group IT provides a diverse and comprehensive array of application design and infrastructure services designed to advance improved health and well-being for our customers, and to benefit UnitedHealth Group employees across the enterprise.

Qualifications: 5+ years of Web design experience5+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Apple Keynote)Graphic Portfolio showing design work required Assets: Familiarity with web programming languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptBachelor's Degree in Visual Design or equivalent work experience Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/VUnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.
