Intelligence System Mentor Job in Kabul
The Contractor shall work directly with Senior Afghan Intelligence Systems Personnel in all aspects of developing Intel Systems policy and strategy.
Contractor will be responsible for mentoring senior officials in multiple areas, as well as tracking and reporting progress of senior officials.
Mentoring will be conducted in the areas of Information Sharing Processes, Support to Multi-disciplined Analysts, Security Intelligence Policy Updates, Systemic Integration of Planning, Collection, Collation, Analysis, etc, as well as other identified areas.
Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of relevant Law Enforcement, military, or other governmental agency experience; with at least 2 years directly involved with the execution, planning, and/or management of criminal/strategic intelligence within law enforcement or other governmental agencyPreferred: - Previous position managing an intelligence gathering and dissemination organization- Experience in gathering, aggregating and sharing information between both internal and external agencies and departments- Experience in development and implementation of intelligence systems for law enforcement, military or national security organizations- Experience with identifying and mentoring intelligence analysts; and senior analysts - Previous experience in training & mentorship programs or similar international experience - Experience with designing, developing, and drafting intelligence policy in the areas of planning, collection, collation, analysis, etc- Previous military experience Ability: - Ability to interact with and influence senior level law enforcement, intelligence or military officials - Ability to prioritize resources and schedules in a dynamic environment - Ability to implement existing intelligence and security policies- Ability to work with and synthesize complex requirements across multiple internal and external agencies- Ability to create an instituted and systemic planning process for directorate and sub-directorate level personnel Skills: - Excellent communications and organizational capabilities- Advanced courses in intelligence curriculum and intelligence and data systems Education: Bachelors degree required
