Insurance Acct Exec - Property & Casualty Job in Mount Laurel , New Jersey US
Description Job Summary Performs a blended role of insurance account retention and new business sales in support of an assigned practice group.
Assists the practice and other support staff as needed to help retain previously produced business.
Provides stewardship on accounts post-sale.
Assists with existing account relationship management.
Sells property and casualty, employee benefits, bond and professional insurance and other Company products and services in a designated practice to an assigned sales goal range.
Maintains network of referral sources and centers of influence.
Makes prospect visits, develops knowledge of prospect insurance and financial situations, develops and proposes comprehensive solutions and closes sales.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of insurance and other Company products, including most sophisticated products.
Requirements: *4-year degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
*Insurance licensing required Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health .
*Regional travel required.
*Generally assigned large and complex portfolios and prospects.
*Generally more than 7 years insurance sales experience required.
*Comprehensive knowledge of various lines of insurance required.
*Ability to formulate complete insurance plans for significant clients.
*Excellent sales skills, including proven history of successfully attracting significant new clients.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including public speaking skills.
*PC skills, including ability to use presentation software.
*Strong negotiating, decision making and sales skills *Excellent customer service skills and teamwork skills.
*PC skills.
Knowledge of Agency Management System and quoting engines preferred.
Job Grade: 10 EOE. Drug Test and Background Check Required
