POSITION PURPOSE To provide sales support to the external sales force, generate additional sales via phone and email, and to provide superior customer service to all customers in a fashion that will create a competitive advantage for Diamond Chain in our ongoing effort to stand out as the company in the Power Transmission market that is easy and efficient to do business with on an ongoing basis.

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible to ensure the expedient, accurate and timely entries of all sales orders to meet the delivery demands of our customers and the company Sales team members.

To support the field sales team with follow up actions that result in increased sales.

To generate sales opportunities through phone and email contact.

Ensure a high level of customer support and a rapid response time to our internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, orders, product uses, credit terms, general customer inquiries, invoice questions, and customer complaints.

Project a professional company image through phone interaction.

Evaluate sales orders that are in the New status and are scheduled for shipment on a daily basis and ensure that the applicable orders are processed, printed, and acknowledged to the customers.

Follow up on all small quotes to assist the field sales organization.

Generate sales by selling additional items to current customers and by generating leads into new customers.

· Assure blanket orders are shipped by scheduled date.

· Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.

· Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.

· Where appropriate, quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

· Consult with clients after sales or contract signings in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.

· Provide appropriate pricing when requested.

· Provide customers with product catalogs and service information.

· Follow-up on customer inquires not immediately resolved.

· Research billing issues.

· Perform administrative duties, such as preparing reports, keeping quote records, etc. · Coordinate orders with manufacturing when needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education : Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university) Experience : Two to four years related inside sales experience especially with industrial products.

Computer Skills Microsoft Office Capabilties & some knowledge of databases.

Good data entry skills.

Computer literate with the ability to learn customer service software applications and the ability to type 30 wpm. Certificates & LicensesInternal sales or customer service recognition a plus.
