Job Description/Summary: This position will prove pivotal in the continued growth of Kee Safetys Midwest Regional Office.
This position requires a self-directed, forward thinking and energetic person who is results oriented and capable of professional and detailed follow through.
Full training will be provided in all aspects of the role, as such, while the ideal candidate may have limited experience, they should be eager to continually learn new skills, sales techniques, marketing strategies and to grow within the position and become a candidate for future promotion within the organization.
The Inside Sales Associate is an office based position providing support to outside sales staff and will focus their efforts in three main areas.
Primarily to complete quotations for the supply of Kee Safety products, including assessment of the customer needs, clarifying details and scope of the application or project, issuing the quotation in a professional and concise manner and active follow-up and quotation tracking once issued.
Secondly, to manage & qualify incoming sales leads generated through marketing efforts in able to identify new quotation opportunities.
Lastly, to assist the General Manager in developing & implementing marketing initiatives to increase lead activity.
Specific Responsibilities: The Inside Sales Associate will: · Prepare and issue quotations for all product lines· Follow-up of leads and quotations· Utilize web-based tools to track construction projects, and create proactive leads· Update customer/prospect/lead database with your activities and any new contact names· Assist in Identifying indirect sales opportunities, potential markets and partners to generate leads· Assist outside sales with follow-up on prospects/leads generated by company advertising, referrals and telephone communications passing qualified leads to Outside Sales to ultimately achieve the annual business goals.
· Be available as back up support coverage for customer service· Coordinate all order entry and shipping with the New York based Operations Team.
· Facilitate shipping, credit and logistic issues that inhibit meeting customer ship date requirements.
· Perform other specific tasks as requested by the General Manager, President or other company Directors Requirements: Education / ExperienceMinimum 2 year Engineering / Sales / Business / Marketing degree preferablePrevious experience in inside sales or technical or construction related discipline an advantage Preferable Skills & Abilities: · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)· Proactive mindset to recognize direct and indirect opportunities for lead generation and sales· Self-motivated, individual contributor and team player· Lifelong learner· Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)· Technical mindset an advantage· Knowledge of a CRM program such as ACT or Goldmine an advantage· Knowledge of a CAD program such as AutoCAD an advantage· Able to learn & adapt in a growing environment Interested candidates should apply through monster.com for the attention of the Midwest General Manager, including cover letter outlining their suitability for the position.
