This position supports the Printing Department.
Some duties include: Perform press-ready color matching Maintain the work-off ink program Assist press operators with color matching Organize, maintain and control the ink room inventory Review production schedule to determine ink requirements Work to eliminate all unsafe behaviors and conditions within the plant.
Fully support and practice safety techniques on a daily basis.
Maintain excellent housekeeping practices and safety awareness.
Promote team-based problem solving and other concepts of continual improvement within the company Perform other duties and overtime as required The requirements for the job are as follows: Ability to work 12 hour, night shift position (training on days) Color theory knowledge required Press Dept experience preferred Must be proficient in general math, especially computing percentages Proficient color aptitude Ability to multi-task, detail oriented, and work in a fast paced environment Self starter with strong organizational and planning skills Start designing your future today.
