Infrastructure Solutions Engineers Job in New York, New York US
This Engineer's primary responsibility will be for creating and the implementation of Java standards.
This will entail working closely with App Dev Teams to understand the Java technologies in use and work to bring in new Java technologies as standards into the GWMG organization.
Infrastructure Solutions Engineer Qualifications: Should have strong hands-on experience in Java / J2EE development with good understanding of core Java, Object-Oriented analysis and design, Web Services, and SOA and experience using frameworks such as LCDS, Hibernate, Springs, Struts, etc. The selected candidate's main responsibility will be to define and document the organization's Java best practices and standards, set standards for third party library usage, and the creation of reusable components as well as assist with design efforts.
Additionally, the selected candidate will complete code reviews and assist development teams with performance and design as well as complete knowledge transfer of best practices and standards to the development teams.
Candidates should have a strong organizational background and communication skills with 5+ years of Java / J2EE development with experience in setting standards and best practicesSkills Desired: Experience with WebSphere Application Server engineering / administration, .
NET, and infrastructure design is a plus
