Information Security Consultant Job in Charlotte, North Carolina US
STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) is currently seeking candidates with the following skills and background.
POSITION TITLE SENIOR INFORMATION SECURITY CONSULTANTDURATION 18 MONTHS LOCATION CAN SIT IN VARIOUS MARKETSDevelops and implements security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments (eg corporate, distributed and client server systems).
Reviews the development, testing and implementation of security plans, products and control techniques.
Investigates and recommends appropriate corrective actions for data security incidents.
Provides technical expertise and data security procedures and products.
Maintains an awareness of existing and proposed security standard setting groups, State and Federal legislation and regulations pertaining to information security.
Identifies regulatory changes that will affect information security policy, standards and procedures and recommends appropriate changes.
Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Experience required: Extensive experience building, configuring Nokia IPSO appliances Checkpoint firewall experience Desireable experience: · The candidates for this position will sit on the Network Security Management Services team.
They handle 200+ firewalls, 350 IDS censors, run through all the centralized management systems, in charge of all authentication and authorization.
· The team is responsible for security compliance and automation.
Candidates should have experience with the following: · Nagios(system), Tiboli, firewalls, HP Overview, IDS exp is a must.
Lifecycle of cisco firewall and also checkpoint.
