Education: BachelorsExperience: 6-9 yearsDescription: Chartis has an opportunity for an Information Officer in its Domestic Claims ISG department.As an Information Officer for the Domestic Claims ISG department you will be responsible for the following: Migration of claims from Third Party Administrators to Chartis and from legacy claims applications to a new claim system; and the full life cycle development of management reports, an operational data store and a data warehouse.
The functions include program and project management, vendor management, and leadership of the overall data program.
The Information Officer (IO) will need to design, build, and deploy a highly reusable data migration software asset that can be used for many conversions with little incremental cost a data migration factory.
The IO will also provide leadership to the overall data program, which will support large-scale reporting, performance management and business intelligence across many lines of business and countries.
The IO will provide leadership to several disciplines including business analysis, architecture, design, development, quality assurance, and deployment.
The IO will manage vendors and internal resources some are direct reports and others are from supporting work groups.
Besides providing leadership in software development, the IO will help operations and claims executives to get more business value from their data.
