Job Description: Ensynch is looking for a Informatics Statistic Modeler for a client in Central Phoenix.

The main skills we are looking for are the following: ·Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics or other scientific discipline with at least 5 years statistician experience.

·Experience using SAS for mathematical, statistical and/or complex scientific analysis applications in a business environment.

·Excellent SAS programming skills, data management principles, such as joining data sets, indexing, data aggregation, accessing external data sources, record selection, multiple records per case, and accessing multiple databases.

·Expert level SAS predictive modeling.

·Proficiency in SAS Enterprise BI, Enterprise Miner 5, SAS Programming, SAS Macros, and SAS Graph required.

·Proficient in qualitative statistical analysis.

Under the direction of the Informatics Technical Sr. Manager, the Statistical Modeler will utilize SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence software and Enterprise Miner software to prepare analytic data, provide predictive modeling, development of mathematical models, neural networks, data mining and other analytical methods to provide internal divisions with evidence-based analytics that allows them to make better informed business decisions.

This includes: ˜Conduct predictive analyses forforecasting, marketing campaign management and medical management ˜Analyze and design models for healthcare data, such as claims and pharmacy, to support Health Services intervention programs˜Analyze and mine multiple data sources to select statistically valid data samples; build, test and implement statistical models by investigating appropriate methods and algorithms˜Develop predictive statistical models using SAS/STAT and SAS E-Miner software ˜Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies applied to large data sets typical of health care data ˜Possess knowledge of survey sampling ˜Demonstrate strong experience with conducting advanced regression analysis, diagnostics, residual analysis, transformations, etc., using SAS/STAT procedures such as GLM, LOGISTIC, GENMOD, GLIMMIX, REG and SCORE ˜Extract data from native sources ˜Create analytical datasets from data sources as necessary to develop variables for modeling ˜Design analysis using the scores from the predictive models ˜Experience in manipulating large data sets (millions of records) ˜Work with other departments to develop research plans to match company goals ˜Identify new opportunities for value-added analytics ˜Prepare and present reports of model performance and business recommendations ˜Assist internal departments with interpretation of campaign list pulls and campaign results based on the models ˜Demonstrate excellent communication skills in order to directly communicate at a consumer level with internal clients (specifically marketing and health services)Education & Experience An advanced degree, Masters or Ph.D, in Mathematics, Statistics or other scientific discipline with at least 5 years experience.

Statistician must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience using SAS for mathematical, statistical and/or complex scientific analysis applications in a business environment is required.

Healthcare experience preferred.
