Industrial Maintenance Technician Job in Albuquerque 87105, New Mexico US
Aerotek has partnered up with an Albuquerque based company that is currently looking to fill a Maintenance Mechanic Technician opening.
Candidates must have working knowledge of heavy machinery such as forklifts, bobcats, etc. and have the ability to repair them as well.
Larger sheet metal industrial machinery will need to be maintained, repaired, and rebuilt if needed as well as larger electrical cranes with higher voltage electrical systems.To perform this job successfully, candidates must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Ability to read and understand welding symbols- Have good eye-hand coordination.
- Minimum of two years, high voltage/AC experience or knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and DC electric- Demonstrated two year mechanical ability and/or aptitude to perform heavy equipment assembly- Prefer high school diploma or GED required two years technical/vocational training.
- Must have basic knowledge of reading and writing.
Must be able to read and understand warning and safety regulations.
Basic knowledge of learning ability and numeral ability.
- Must be able to follow repetitive work and follow verbal instructions and perform precise work to close tolerances.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be capable of standing, bending, and climbing for long periods of time.
- Must be able to use equipment to help lift miscellaneous steel parts, assemblies that may way up to several thousand pounds.
- Must be able to deal and work in various weather conditions and the noise level in the work environment is usually high.
