We are seeking candidates for a variety of Volt positions onsite at a manufacturing facility located in Dyersburg, TN. These positions will range in skill level and duration.
Industrial EngineerVolt is looking for an Industrial Engineer to assist with the process planning of several transmission flow-lines including the following: o Assist with the standard work (ie documentation of standard operating procedures with various existing product flow-lines)o Safety risk assessments of these product flow-lineso PFMEA's participation with these existing product flow-lineso Perform Capp+ documentation for various assembly flow-lines o Perform Master Bill of Material (BOM) grief resolution o BOM comparison to make sure the manufacturing system matches what is on the released engineering BOMo Perform pinpoint documentation which includes making sure the proper torque values have been captured in the process control toolo Utilize data system for performing various time studies on the existing product flow-lines including the use of Niosh Equations.
The basic deliverables shall consist of the following items: o Complete time studies for 12 Transmissions arrangements for Legacy lineso Comparisons of data system times to documented times for transmission arrangements o Complete Niosh Equations for parts/ subs that weigh 18 lbs and over on OEM lineso Complete Safety Risk assessments as directed / requiredo Complete bill of material audits / comparisons for EC changes / new releases*Not all positions may be currently available, please contact Volt for more information.
Requirements: Requirements: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year(s) of work experience relevant to the position; excellent longevity in previous positions, and a degree or certificate is highly preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience o Experience working within a manufacturing company specifically with transmission assembly lines or equivalent experience o Previous process planning and time studies experience o Strong analytical skills with attention to detail o Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer facing and teaming skillsSubmit your resume today!
