Improvement / Re-engineering Analyst Job in Bloomington 55437, Minnesota US
Our client is looking for a contract consultant for a six to seven month project on their process improvement team.
The successful candidate will be a key contributor in the reliability excellence process improvement team and will be responsible for driving the improvement of plant reliability and championing the defect elimination efforts.
He or she will apply knowledge and experience to ensure continuous improvement to optimize the company's physical assets and maintenance and reliability processes and strategies.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Equipment Reliability Improvement processes in a large multiple product processing facility.
The ideal candidate will also have Lean manufacturing experience, along with Kaizen methodology experience, and Six Sigma training.
Travel is required Mon-Thurs for the length of engagement.

Requirements include: Must be able to travel Mon-Thurs for the length of the engagement, Equipment Reliability Improvement, Lean manufacturing experience, Kaizen methodology, Six Sigma training and a 4 year degree in a related field.
Other requirements are: Minimum of six years experience in production, maintenance, or project management.
Demonstrated ability to work with multi-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment, and processes.
Demonstrated ability to organize and implement projects which improve the operational effectiveness of a process.
