Implementation Engineer (Job #9666) Job in Albertson 11507, New York US
Job Description: SmartSource, Inc is seeking an Implementation Engineer for a full time, permanent opportunity in Albertson, NY. Our client is seeking an engineer who has experience in implementation and design of enterprise level networks.
We are seeking experienced engineers who have a mixed skill set made of up at least one primary strength with secondary experience in the below skills: Citrix: - Expertise with Citrix MetaFrame/Presentation Server/XenApp- Deep technical understanding of Presentation Server/XenApp core technologies (eg ICA protocol, Session Stability, CSG, WI, SQL Server, Licensing Server and Citrix Client Software)- Strong understanding of core windows Infrastructure technologies (Windows TS, AD, GPO, CIFS, DFS) within enterprise- Experience managing systems, user configuration and technology deployments across large, distributed environments.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset (ie parsing event logs, sysinternal tools, analyzing memory dumps)- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, XenServer, HyperV, Citrix XenDesktop, VDI)- Scripting Ability highly desired (whether PowerShell, WMI, VBScript, ETC)- Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (system design and engineering documents, operational runbooks)- 3+ years experience requiredVMware: - Expertise with VMware Infrastructure 3 and/or vSpher

Expertise with VMware VirtualCenter / vCenter Server- VMware VDI/View design and implementation- VCB implementation and integration to enterprise backup- Stage manager implementation - Lab Manager implementation - Thinapp/thinstall- 3 + Years experience requiredStorage, Fiber Switches and Backup: - Expertise in both NAS (CIFS/NFS) and SAN (iSCSI/FC)- Expertise in Cisco/Brocade FC workgroup class SAN switches- NetApp/EMC Design, implementation and troubleshooting- Backup Solutions including TAPE, VTL, D2D and Deduplication- Experience designing NAS and SAN for virtualized environments a plus- Expertise in Storage Management tools- 3 + years experience requiredMicrosoft: - Enterprise Level AD architectural skills - Upgrade from NT4.
0/2000 to 2000 to 2008 and beyond- Familiar with corporate migration/upgrade practices XP, to vista, to windows 7 and beyond- AD Security Best Practices- Exchange migration and implementation expertise- SQL server implementation expertise- Blackberry BES implementation and management - 3 + years experience required.
