IT Trainer Job in New York
The IT Trainer will execute New Hire Training at Tishman Speyer on an as needed basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for coordinating IT New Hire training for entire organization Work closely with Human Resources and senior managers to determine training priorities, assess needs and make recommendations.
Create new training programs, materials, and documentation based on internal needs and external availability of new technologies.
Invite users to training sessions; make sure users have meeting request with WEBEX location and call in number.
Assure that appropriate people are involved in training.
Develop training materials, providing laminated “quick” cards and brochures for all applications.
Orient new employees to IT systems, including Microsoft application training.
Confirm trainee attendance 24 hours prior to beginning each session.
Assess effectiveness of training delivered via focus groups and surveys.
Track responses to ensure best methodologies and practices are used.
Overall record of who has been trained on what applications and when.
Create and maintain IT training reference library.
Create Camtasia recordings of training as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years experience in IT/ training.
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to provide New Hire Training as requested.
Ability to learn all TSP applications/systems quickly.
Ability to effectively listen to co-workers and respond to their requests.
Ability to travel between floors and buildings in order to effectively communicate.
Ability to understand and communicate in English, both verbally and written.
