Our client in Columbus, GA has a need for an experienced and highly skilled IT Security Manager.

You will provide technical and non-technical support on key managements multiple systems and processes, analysis, and problem resolution to support ongoing delivery of services and or operations.

This includes, but is not limited to, leading projects, sharing knowledge with colleagues, managing relationships with other areas, proficiency in controls surrounding the use of cryptographic keys and data, an understanding of all security policies and procedures, functioning within the established guidelines, and other duties as assigned.

Problem solving and work flow analysis is integral to this position.

Analyzes business and/or technical requirements to assist Project Manager with formulation of a project plan according to business and/or technical requirements.

Performs risk assessment and scenarios to mitigate risk while still meeting required timelines.

You will work independently as the highest-level business/technical expert, providing both internal and external consulting services.

Plans, conducts, and directs research and/or development work on more complex projects necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches.

May act in a liaison capacity with other departments, divisions, and organizations.

Is expected to make recommendations which have significant impact on the technical aspects of key management projects and programs.

Generally works with latitude for unreviewed action or decision.

Assists with the development and compliance of all Association, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), and Encryption Services standards, policies, and procedures.

Provides consultative services to department management and IT project teams to help raise awareness of Encryption Services issues and concerns affecting the corporation.

As necessary, assist in the development or selection of cost effective solutions.

Participates in the system/application development life cycle to ensure the key management system processes and concepts are incorporated into all applicable systems and software.

Administers and develops the ELMS Communication Agent (ECA) for license to clients at their request.

Builds relationships between Encryption Services and our internal and external customers.

Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.

Non-supervisory role, very high level of accountability/responsibility.

Education/ExperienceFour year college degree and 8 or more years professional experience or 10 or more years professional experience is required.

Requires a minimum of six years experience in key management / Cryptographic technology field with a focus on information security best practices.

A strong technical background in various key management / cryptographic and related products and concepts including, but not limited to HP Non Stop Atalla, Thales, and nCipher HSMs; ICSF mainframe encryption; distributed technology encryption; data at rest encryption; and router to router encryption.

A degree in Cryptography, an advanced degree, or expert level knowledge and experience with cryptographic applications and products is preferred.

Professional certification(s) preferred.

Highly motivated self-starter and the ability to work in a cooperative manner with other team members and departments is preferred.

Also, extensive training in Java, HTML, and XML development; project management; and team leadership is preferred.
