IT Security Analyst Job in Newark 07105, New Jersey US
Our client is a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Newark, is the state's largest health insurer.
There goal is the same as it has been since 1932 to provide individuals and employers in New Jersey with convenient access to quality health care, wherever they live or work.Our client is looking for an IT Security Analyst for a long term contract in Newark NJ. The individual will perform comprehensive security evaluations of Applications; Perform Design reviews; Identify vulnerabilities, threats, weaknesses, risks and develop strategies to mitigate.
They will define security policies to meet application security requirements.
They will define cost/benefit tradeoffs for security policies.
This position requires a solid understanding of information security projects and implementation with experience in the development of information security policies, standards, processes, and risk analysis.
Candidates must have: The ability to maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
Will document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems.
Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area Ability to identify vulnerabilities, threats, weaknesses, and risksAbility to develop strategies for migration.
