IT Risk Manager Assessment & Planning near O'Hare airport Job in Chicago, Illinois US
IT Risk Manager, Assessment and Planning$100-$120K near OHare airportPerform information security risk assessments corporate wide.
Meet with business leaders and all levels of employees to plan and initiate IT security projects.
Establish the direction that the IT Security Committee needs to consider.
Determine and develop the information security policies and procedures to be instituted by the IT Security Committee.
Serve as the internal auditor for information security processes.
Establish and maintain companys overall IT risk management program enabling the protection of all the companys IT systems, information assets and IT infrastructures.
Monitor internal control systems for information access levels and maintenance of security clearances.
Keep current with IT security technologies as well as legislation and accreditation standards.
Promote activities to foster information security awareness within the organization.
Review change requests to make sure the risks are in compliance with Security and DR plans.
Perform Business Impact Analysis related to IT systems and infrastructures.
Create the disaster recovery strategy and plan.
Manage the disaster recovery process.
To be considered you must have the following: Bachelors degree in IT area; Masters preferredCurrent IT risks management expertise in assessments, planning and initiating of projects, policies and procedures.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills for strategic, long term efforts as well as tactical accomplishments that get customer satisfaction in IT risk management service delivery.
Able to build solutions; meeting business needs while operating within established financial resource constraints.
Excellent project management skills, Must be a motivator with a can-do attitudeA combination of; Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, Citrix, Cisco (router, switches, IPT), VMware, VoIP, firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, certificates, DB2, iSeries HA/DR technologies, SAN, Provisioning, Tiering, Backup & Recovery, Archive & Destroy.
Knowledge of JDEdwards ERP is a plusGlobal IT Infrastructure experience is a plus.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to speak and read in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese is a plus.
