IS Manager - Stapleslink Job in Framingham 01702, Massachusetts US
JOB SUMMARY: The successful candidate in this role will lead a high performing team in the application development of our award winning Stapleslink.com website.
In addition to relevant technical experience, the ability to work effectively across other IS functions, and to understand and communicate in business terms is critical to this role.
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities This position has responsibility for maintenance, support, and enhancement efforts for Stapleslink.com.Manage cooperative relationships across the business function with respect to systems, projects, processes, teams, and external partners.
Be viewed as a trusted advisor to our business partners.
Manage the offshore support team to ensure stability of the Stapleslink website.
Attract and retain high quality associates.
Ensure that we have the right associates in the right roles based on our business and technology drivers.
Ensure that our technology solutions meet the highest standards of stability and scalability.
Work closely with the Project Service Office, Quality Management, Infrastructure, Operations, and Database Management peers throughout the SDLC to ensure that application development initiatives are delivered that meet, or exceed, established both functional and non-functional requirements.
Support Staples regulatory, compliance, and security processes.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
Proven track record in leading teams or projects that develop high quality applicationsExperience with high volume, high availability implementations of J2EE technologiesExperience with WebSphere, WAS and WCBE is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of business processes6 - 8 years related technical experience3 - 5 years management experience
