Department: MaintenanceSTATUS: Full Time Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm-12:00pm), Mon - Friday, Some weekendsPay Rate: $21.

00/HRExperience: 3-5yrs Location: Blauvelt, NYSUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service for Manufacturing Operation.
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
Must have skills and experience to work with minimal supervision, deal with production related issues that involve 3 phase electrical, mechanical, chillers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facilitys electrical equipment.
Plan, layout, install and repair a wide variety of complex electrical equipment including automatic machine and process controls, control centers and panels, relays, circuit breakers, electronic controls, tape actuated controls and other equipment involving tube or transistor circuits.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities including air compressors, and lighting systems.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and materials handling equipment in performing duties, some machine shop and welding skills-A++.
Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Education and Experience:
High School or Technical School education.
Refrigeration License A+
3+ years of related experience in industrial/packing machines/production machines Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Use advanced trades mathematics together with complicated drawings and specifications involving thorough technical skill knowledge and application of basic theory.
Considerable judgment required to plan and performs unusual and difficult work where only general methods are available.
Able to make decisions involving considerable initiative and ingenuity.
Training Requirements:
General Safety.
Lock-out Tag-out.
HAZMAT.
Forklift Safety.
Electrostatic Discharge Awareness.
Foreign Object Damage Awareness.
Quality System Awareness.
Physical Demands:
Some heavy lifting and considerable moving of equipment required.
Lifting of objects up to 100 lbs. Personal Protective Equipment:
All required PPE will be provided.
Work Environment:
Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise, common in an industrial environment.
