Human Resources Specialist Job in Cranbury 08512, New Jersey US
Primary purpose is to provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
Required skills, knowledge and experience: High School Diploma; College Degree preferred3-5 years of experience, preferably in Human ResourcesStrong organizational skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects and meet established deadlines.
Strong communications skills necessary for dealing with internal and external contacts.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong PC skills Ability to work well in teams.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities: Provides administrative support to the department as needed, to include: preparation of presentation material, mail distribution, scanning, filing, copying, registering documents, achieving/retrieval, ordering supplies, etc. Performing all background checks, scheduling interviews (if needed), preparing/sending pre-interviews packages, preparing interview guides, posting jobs, preparing offer letter, filtering staffing inbox, reporting metrics and any additional administrative support required.
Responsible for the administration of the new hire process to include: preparing and sending new hire packages, collecting new hire paperwork, staffing notifications, scheduling orientation, new hire paperwork (NARF, Security Badge form, etc.), scan paperwork to Panagon, follow-up on pre-employment physicals and background checks.
Responsible for the maintenance and payment of invoices within the department, to include PO set up. Administers various human resource programs to include: service awards, 360 Feedback process, Rhodia scholarships, etc. Will also be responsible for the EE0 filing and Affirmative Action Plan submission.
Manage HR e-room to ensure proper documentation is available and up to date.
Coordinates and administer training programs as needed.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
