POSITION/JOB TITLE: Human Resources Generalist DEPARTMENT: Human Resources ABOUT THE COMPANY: CorePharma LLC is a fast growing mid-size generic pharmaceutical company with approximately 250 employees, located in Middlesex, New Jersey.

We are a ten year old firm principally in the business of developing, manufacturing, and distributing pharmaceutical products for the United States market.

ABOUT THE JOB: Partner with client group to provide guidance on all human resource practices consistent with business goals and operating strategies.

Provide innovative and cost-effective human resource solutions to business managers.

Understand government laws, rules, and regulations and keep abreast of new or changing developments.

Maintain awareness of business and client needs.

Manage implementation of Corporate HR initiatives for client group.

Deliver all human resource services including recruiting, staffing, employee relations, compensation administration, training and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES: Recruiting/StaffingProvide all phases of recruitment and staffing services to client group.

· Utilize recruitment sources such as newspaper advertisements, candidate database (Resumix), the Internet, and employee referrals.

· If necessary, work with external recruiting and advertising agencies and manage related budgets.

· Identify and screen candidates.

· Develop documentation justifying hiring of candidates and related expenses.

· Negotiate salaries for new hires and transfers.

· Work with client group to generate strategies that will enhance the development and retention of employees.

· Monitor the internal and external environment impacting recruiting/staffing requirements, analyze trends, identify issues, and make recommendations for solutions if necessary.

· Coordinate transfers and promotions.

Employee Relations Provide all phases of employee relations services to client group.

· Work closely with managers to ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees.

· Counsel employees and managers on performance management issues and opportunities.

· Conduct exit interviews.

Analyze information to identify issues and make recommendations for solutions.

· Counsel and advise managers on termination issues.

· If required, work closely with legal counsel on performance/policy issues.

Compensation and Benefits· Monitor overall compensation for equality and fairnesspartner with business managers to maintain fair and equitable treatment.

· Manage annual salary program for client group--reconcile budgets and consistency with guidelines.

· Advise and counsel clients on annual salary and bonus recommendations as well as off cycle salary increases.

Analyze, make recommendations, develop justifications, and monitor compliance with company policy and guidelines.

· Work closely with client groups to understand and implement the performance planning and appraisal and incentive award program and other HR initiatives.

Help clients to understand the programs and use them as tools in motivating employees and achieving objectives.

· Implement existing and new compensation plans and related programs.

· Partner with managers to maintain internal and external compensation equity.

Prepare job descriptions, evaluate jobs, and map to appropriate compensation and grade levels.

· Work with employee benefits to meet client needs and exchange employee information to ensure that benefits are administered according to government laws, rules, and regulations, e.

g., COBRA, Family Leave, etc.· Keep abreast of issues related to compensation and/or benefits and recommend solutions.

General· Identify, analyze, and recommend solutions for work/family life issues.

· As a member of the HR team, participate in identifying initiatives to enhance delivery of services, e.

g., technology, outsourcing, etc. · Manage the development of training programs such as Sexual Harassment, Performance Management.

Work closely with external vendors as necessary.

Research and provide available training resources for managers and employees to facilitate training initiatives.

· Information Management: generate reports and information from HRIS system, collect information, deal with compensation data, analyze information, draw conclusions, make recommendations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: · Undergraduate Degree in HR or related field· Professional certification and/or masters degree a plus· 5-7 years related experience· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills· Excellent computer skills, including HRIS Please provide cover letter with salary history and current requirement.
