Millipore is looking for an HR Generalist to join the Bioprocess Division, headquartered in Billerica, MA. This individual will report into the HR Divisional Director and be part of a dynamic team of Business Partners that support the entire division, roughly 1,000 employees worldwide.
The primary mission for this role is to provide tactical HR expertise to Bioprocess HR Business Partners worldwide, including data management, coordinating employee on-boarding and exit processes as well as working with other HR functional areas to support the Divisions HR strategy.
Key Responsibilities Include: –ª Track, analyze and report data on a variety of HR metrics including employee turnover, performance ratings and reviews, recruitment, development plans, employee training, etc.–ª Manage the employee exit process including conducting exit interviews, processing paperwork, and managing exit interview data.
–ª Work with managers on transactional processes and paperwork related to manager & department changes, terminations, etc.–ª Respond to and administer employee inquiries regarding policies and benefits, support proactive communication to organization with policy and benefits changes.
–ª Partner with hiring managers, Corporate HR, and the Business Partners to coordinate the employee on-boarding process in the US.–ª Engage in the resolution of employee relations concerns on an as-needed basis.
–ª Support Business Partners in driving the implementation of activities related to talent development.
–ª Work with the Business Partners and the Training organization to coordinate divisional training programs as needed.
–ª Work with HR Divisional Director to coordinate team meetings as necessary.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess: –ª 1-3 years of HR generalist experience with preferably some experience in an HR Functional area, such as Staffing, Compensation and/or Benefits–ª Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related area of study; HR certification preferred–ª Strong interest in growing a career in Human Resources–ª Considerable knowledge of HR principles and practices to include familiarity with federal and state employment lawsThe Ideal Candidate Will Possess: –ª 1-3 years of HR generalist experience with preferably some experience in an HR Functional area, such as Staffing, Compensation and/or Benefits–ª Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related area of study; HR certification preferred–ª Strong interest in growing a career in Human Resources–ª Considerable knowledge of HR principles and practices to include familiarity with federal and state employment laws
