Human Resources Coordinator Job in Shirley 01464, Massachusetts US
Position: Human Resources Coordinator Reports to: Human Resources Supervisor Summary: A Human Resources generalist position responsible for payroll processing and administration, benefits assistance, time and attendance tracking, health and other benefit enrollment, headcount and other reporting, and coordination of employee safety equipment procurement.
Provides general HR administration support and maintains confidentiality.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include: Process weekly Union & Salaried Payroll.
Maintain payroll data base (Millennium) and timekeeper data base (Kronos) to reflect current hires/terminations/transfers and other employee status changes.
Prepare payroll and benefit related reports including headcount and organizational charts.
Understand and follow all union contractual obligations and company policy related to payroll and benefits.
Assist employees with payroll and benefit problem resolutionAudit and track vacation and personal time eligibility and accrualsProcess health insurance enrollment and changes.
Assist Human Resource Supervisor in monitoring the Performance Planning & Evaluation Program.
Update and maintain all employee records on HRIS and hardcopy files to ensure legal compliance and ensure security and exceptional organization.
Coordination and tracking of employee personal protective equipment purchases to ensure outstanding employee support and compliance with company safety policyPost and maintain all employee communication physically and on department SharePoint siteApplicant tracking for EEO reporting Publish company newsletter under the direction of OD teamProvide administrative support for the Organizational Development teamOther duties as assigned Requirements · At least two years of human resources or related experience.
· Payroll processing experience strongly preferred, Kronos/Harpers background a plus· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills · Detail oriented, with an ability to meet deadlines and to manage multiple tasks · Strong written and oral communication skills · Professional and discreet demeanor · Expertise in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook, · Proficiency using SharePoint, Microsoft Publisher, and internet.
· A positive and collaborate work style with ability to adapt to growth and change· Associates degree preferred
