Home Care Department Assistant for Elder Service Plan Job in Boston 02122, Massachusetts US
We are currently seeking a Home Care Department Assistant to join our team at the Elder Service Plan.
This position is 32 hours per week with daytime hours.
The Home Care Department Assistant functions as an assistant to the Home Care Manager.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to adjusting home aide schedules for sick calls; understanding individual participant home care needs and being able to match them with home care aide strengths; distribution and filing of home care assessments; processing of monthly home aide mileage reimbursement forms; tracking home aide attendance for timely payroll submission; miscellaneous filing and copying; and other assigned dutiesQualifications: GED or High School Diploma, two (2) or more years experience in a healthcare, professional or business environment, excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, computer literate (Microsoft Office applications with a focus on Word, Excel and Outlook, and excellent administrative skills.
Preferred: Associates Degree in healthcare or business.
