HVAC Hydronic Training Engineer - Manager Job in Chicago, Illinois US
TITLE: HVAC Hydronic Training Manager/EngineerDEPARTMENT: Sales & MarketingREPORTS TO: National Training ManagerLOCATION: The Hydronic Training Manager will work from a home office in their current city and travel to conduct training sessions in the US (mostly regional).

Please visit us at www.flowdesign.com Job Description Overview: The HVAC Hydronic Training Manager will use technical knowledge and resources to conduct regional hydronic technical training sessions to Flow Designs engineering audience, including current and potential customers.
This position will require extensive regional travel and occasional international travel.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct frequent training sessions to a regional engineering and technical audience in support of Flow Design product salesIndentify training needs and produce new training content as neededParticipate in the development of training tools in support of Flow Design Hydronic College training activitiesSupport product sales efforts of Flow Design regional managers and distributors through technical training, general product training, and trade showsProvide technical support to Flow Design regional managers/distributors through drawings and specifications to support product salesManage established HVAC technical training programs in the region to educate FDI employees, distributors, customers, and potential customers.
Work closely with management, sales, marketing, and engineering in order to conduct training sessions in support of business development KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESAbility to travel extensively throughout a US regional area (75%) Strong team player with the ability to work autonomously and independentlyExtremely strong verbal, written and technical skillsDemonstrated experience conducting technical training sessions to a technical audiencePC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point AUTOCAD experience is highly desiredPrevious experience with HVAC technical presentations in an academic or industry forum is a plus EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field, PE preferredCombination of education and 5 years of technical training experience will be considered Desired: Previous experience with HVAC technical presentations in an academic or industry forum is a plusAUTOCAD experience is a plus
