Education Certification in Human ResourcesWorking on or attained SHRM PHR CertificationAssociate Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources Skills Excellent communication skills both oral and written Ability to maintain a strict confidentiality and handle sensitive issues Good organizational skillsAbility to prioritizeProficient in Microsoft Office Experience 5 years of relative experience or any similar combination of education and experience in Human Resources.
Industry experience preferredPrior ISO exposure preferredUnderstanding and ability to interpret and apply local, state and federal employment /safety laws, including but not limited to FMLA/ADA/FLSA Responsibilities Administer new hire orientationSet-up new employee personnel filesUpdate and or generate company polices and procedures as it relates to Human Resources and/or trainingResponsible for employee benefits and 401kWorkers Compensation administrationAssists departments in the resolution of HR issues Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies ensuring optimum cost savings.
Facilitate all necessary recruitment of qualified candidates and coordination of interviews with respective manager Maintain scheduled training for all employees including training records Recommend, develop and schedule training and development coursesAssist with the Environmental Health and Safety programAssist with the coordination of all company social events Reporting Structure Position reports to the Plant Manager in South Carolina with dotted line to Corporate Human Resources
